Do you play Blackjack? Of course you do. Everyone plays Blackjack. That’s why it’s the No. 1 table game for Michigan online casino players.

Blackjack variants have been the clear leader in online casino table games for several months. But Baccarat has slipped into the top five this month.

How Top MI Online Casino Games Are Complied

Research and consulting firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) released its monthly report last week, showing that Baccarat has edged its way into a list of the top five games that’s otherwise dominated by Blackjack. The monthly report provides a comprehensive look at the overall U.S. casino market and provides a chart ranking the top 25 online table games for the month.

Five unique game suppliers are represented in the list of 25, showing continued variety in the segment available for Michigan casino apps players. International Gaming Technology (IGT) has eight games listed, Evolution and Light & Wonder have six each; four internal games made the list; and Gaming Realms has one game. Internal games are produced by casino operators themselves and are growing in popularity in the U.S. market.

EKG’s chart ranking the top 25 table games is compiled by data captured from 33 online casino sites across Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia markets. Those states combined represent about 65% of the U.S. market in terms of gross gaming revenue.

The games in EKG’s report – including the ones available for players in the Great Lakes State, even at the newest Michigan online casinos – are ranked based on theoretical wins, or a player’s expected house win based on the amount bet. California-based EKG publishes the full report on its website.

Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Craps are the three non-blackjack games in the top 10. We will focus on the top five games on EKG’s chart.

Blackjack (IGT)

Ranked No. 1 for several months is IGT’s Blackjack game. There are several different Blackjack versions to choose from in any given online casino. This review looks at IGT’s standard online version, Blackjack AIG. There are no casino side bets in this version. A natural Blackjack wins 3 to 2 while all other wins pay 1 to 1.

If the dealer and player tie it is known as a push. Players at this Michigan online Blackjack game get their original bet back in a push. Insurance bets pay 2 to 1. The dealer must draw an additional card if a total of 16 is showing. On the flip side, the dealer must stand on 17.

Six decks of cards are used in this game, shuffled after each round. The minimum bet is $1 with a maximum bet of $1,000. The game has a 99.6% Return-To-Player (RTP) ratio. RTP is the term casinos use to describe the percentage a game will pay back to players over time. IGT Blackjack is available online at Caesars Palace Online Casino Michigan, FanDuel, WynnBET, BetRivers and Golden Nugget.

Baccarat

Baccarat is known as one of the oldest and most popular card games on the casino floor. Regular players of baccarat see the game as being glamorous, elegant and classy. Those new to the game will enjoy the simplicity of the game play.

The objective of the game is to predict whether the banker’s hand or the player’s hand will add up to a value closest to nine. All face cards and 10s count as zero and aces count as one. The hand with the highest point value wins.

The game starts with players placing a wager on either the player, banker or on a tie. Winning bets on the player or banker pays 1 to 1, while a tie bet pays 8 to 1.

The minimum bet is $1 and climbs to a maximum bet of $10,000.

IGT Baccarat can be found at BetMGM online casino MI, Caesars, Golden Nugget, DraftKings, WynnBET, FanDuel and BetRivers.

Multi-hand Blackjack With Poker And Pairs

Multi-hand Blackjack is a great game where you can have up to three hands at once. IGTs Multi-hand Blackjack Poker and Pairs also adds an exciting element. It lets players bet on a three-card poker hand and bet on hitting a pair.

In this version of blackjack, the dealer must draw on a 16 and stand on all 17’s. The RTP in blackjack is 99.6%, poker is 96.8% and pairs 96.6%. Hitting blackjack pays 3 to 2. The minimum bet is $1 and climbs to a maximum bet of $10,000.

Multi-hand Blackjack with Poker and Pairs is available at BetRivers Michigan casino, BetMGM and FanDuel.

Blackjack Surrender

Why play only one hand of Blackjack online when you can play Multi-Hand Blackjack with Surrender? Blackjack Surrender isn’t really a new game, it’s an option in a lot of Blackjack games. It’s also one of the least-known moves in Blackjack. But not all Blackjack games provide surrender.

Surrender lets you save half of your bet by folding before new cards are dealt by the dealer. It’s like folding in other games such as Three Card Poker or Ultimate Texas Hold’em before new cards are dealt. But in those games, you lose your whole bet.

Place all your favorite bets on each hand: Split bets, double-down bets and insurance bets. Again, there are countless variants of Blackjack online. Search for “with surrender” in the game title for this version. They are easy to find.

Blackjack with Surrender can be found on Golden Nugget online casino MI, Caesars, FanDuel, WynnBET, DraftKings and BetRivers.

Blackjack Poker and Pairs

Ranked No. 5, this version of Blackjack comes with two optional side bets known as poker and pairs.

The Pairs side bet offers players the choice to make a separate wager on whether their two cards will be paired. A Suited Pair pays 30 to 1, Colored Pair pays 10 to 1 and Mixed Pair pays 5 to 1.

The Michigan online poker side bet is based on the player’s first two cards, plus the dealer’s up card. A Suited 3 of a Kind pays 100 to 1, Straight Flush pays 35 to 1, Three of a Kind pays 33 to 1, Straight pays 10 to 1, and Flush pays 5 to 1. The minimum bet can be $1 up to a maximum of $30,000. The game has an RTP of 99.6%.

The Blackjack Poker and Pairs game is available on DraftKings Michigan casino, BetRivers, Caesars, BetMGM, FanDuel, WynnBET and Golden Nugget.
