From the traditional spread and moneyline bets, to player props and even unique wagers such as the outcome of the coin toss, there are numerous betting options for the Super Bowl. And for the first time, Michigan bettors can legally wager on the big game.
To celebrate Super Bowl LV and Michigan's recent online sports betting and online casino launch, many sportsbooks are offering promotions or boosts for Sunday’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Here is a rundown of some of the promotions the online sportsbooks in Michigan are currently running.
This one is simple enough: Double your money if a touchdown is scored. For users who opt-in for this promotion on DraftKings, bettors can double their money if either the Chiefs or Buccaneers score a touchdown. The odds on the bet are +100 and the max wager is $25.
Users who opt in to the Big Game Mystery Box will be given a boost for either Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady to throw the first touchdown pass of the game. Bettors can place a max wager of $25 and will randomly be issued the Mahomes or Brady prop. Be sure to check in on the app to see what prop you are issued.
Celebrating Super Bowl 55, FanDuel is offering 55-to-1 odds on either team to win. That means players can win $275 on a $5 bet when they download the app and make their first deposit (minimum $10).
For any pregame wagers on the Chiefs or Buccaneers, FanDuel users will be eligible to receive a spin on the Big Game Casino Bonus Wheel. Three random bonus amounts are on the wheel, including $5, $10 and $15. Whatever amount the wheel lands on, that much will be deposited within 72 hours as online casino site credit.
PointsBet users can bet on either the Buccaneers or Chiefs to win and receive $50 in free bets if their team loses by 43 points or less. The 43-point cushion is an ode to Brady’s age. Brady’s largest loss of his college and NFL career was 35 points, while Mahomes has never lost by more than eight.
PointsBet is offering boosted odds for numerous props. Mahomes to win MVP is +110, up from -110, while Brady to go over 0.5 rushing yards is at +200 from +175.
William Hill currently has two prop boosts listed on its sportsbook website, and it involves wide receivers from each team. Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans to catch a touchdown and the Buccaneers to win is boosted from +400 to +500. On the other side, a Mecole Hardman touchdown parlayed with a Chiefs victory is now +450 from +375.
TwinSpires is featuring numerous odds boosts titled “Brett Favre’s Big Game Boosts'' Here’s a rundown of each:
BetMGM is offering “Big Game Parlays,” which allow props and other boosts to be parlayed together for increased odds. For example, both Tyreek Hill and Kelce to go over 80 receiving yards is +135. The wide range of parlay combinations can be found in the BetMGM Sportsbook.
New users on BetRivers will have two Super Bowl promotions available to them. One is the Big Game Offer, where players who deposit $100 with the code BigGame500 will receive $100 in free bonus money, then an additional $400 in bonus money if the player bets $100 on the Super Bowl. BetRivers users will also receive at $55 in free bets if $55 or more is wagered on the Super Bowl.
TheScore is offering specials and bonuses for new players who register. For first-time bettors who place any bet on the Super Bowl, they will receive $300.
Players can bet $50 on who will record more touchdowns between Mahomes and Brady. Users will receive $7 for each touchdown scored by the quarterback bettors decide to back.
If a user places a live bet during the Super Bowl, the player will get matched up to $55 in site credit.
Players can bet on either team's pregame moneyline and be entered into theScore's two-minute warning protection insurance. If your team is leading at the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter but loses the game, theScore will refund up to $50.
TheScore is also boosting parlays. Bet limits may apply, but each of the following parlays are boosted to 8 to 1 for the players.
