BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting operator, announced a strategic partnership on Thursday with Anaxi, Aristocrat’s online real money gaming business, to offer content in Michigan, among other markets.
Aristocrat will now provide gaming content for BetMGM, including the operator’s Michigan online casino options, which are available for download via iOS and Android and are also desktop accessible.
One year ago, Aristocrat announced it would be establishing a combined online Real Money Gaming and Customer Experience Solutions business. The new name and brand for the business, Anaxi, was announced in October.
What Anaxi Offers
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with BETMGM as Anaxi reimagines the world’s greatest gaming content online,” Anaxi Executive Vice President Cath Burns said in a press release. “This is the first content release for Anaxi, and we look forward to continuing to innovate and create online gaming experiences that entertain for our partners and players.”
Among the games available from Anaxi are Miss Kitty, 5 Dragons Rising Jackpots, Wild Wild Samurai and Pompeii Rising Jackpots.
Anaxi is part of the Aristocrat Gaming portfolio. The games from Anaxi join an extensive list of real money Michigan online slots available, usually offering return to player (RTP) at a higher percentage than physical casinos.
BetMGM Offers Variety For iGaming
The BetMGM Online Casino MI has a wide variety of online slots, table games and card games, including online poker. BetMGM also has online roulette in a variety of game modes.
“We are honored to be the first operator in North America to offer Anaxi’s world-class content,” BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said. “Partnering with Anaxi to provide some of Aristocrat’s most iconic games supports our goal of making BetMGM online casino the best destination for players.”
BetMGM opened a Michigan live dealer studio in 2022 to add to its gaming offerings. The company also falls under the same corporate umbrella as the MGM Grand Detroit Casino, one of three commercial casinos operating in the Motor City.
Michigan’s Growing iGaming Market
Alongside MI sports betting, Michigan is one of six states that have legal, regulated online casino play available.
The other states where customers can play online card games, slots and the like are Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut and Michigan.
The American Gaming Association reported this week that, though iGaming is only legal in six states, they combined for more than $5 billion in revenue in 2022, including more than $1.58 billion in Michigan.
Several other states are in the process of considering iGaming. New York and Illinois are just two of the states where legislation has been introduced that would bring legal, regulated online casino options to fruition.
